The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ(I Cor 15) is the gospel and men are to preach obedience to the gospel. From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:14-15 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. The keynote address of the everlasting gospel is given by the apostle holding the keys. Being questioned by devout Jews, Peter succinctly sums up the new birth in one verse proclaiming the gospel of the death, burial and the resurection of Jesus. We obey the gospel when we die in Repentance, are buried in Baptism and rise anew once we have received the promised Gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:38-39
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ warns "... though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8-9; II Corinthians 4:3 Many will be deceived.
